GCSE Results

We're thrilled to announce that our Year 11 students have achieved outstanding results in their GCSE exams. The results this year reflect the hard work, resilience, and determination of both our students and staff, with all three secondary schools showing significant improvements.

Each of our schools within the Together Learning Trust has seen an increase in the number of students passing English and Maths, demonstrating the effectiveness of our collaborative efforts and targeted initiatives implemented across the Trust, including walking-talking mocks, exam breakfasts, and other supportive strategies. These initiatives have played a crucial role in preparing our students for their exams, boosting their confidence, and enhancing their performance.

  • Honley High School achieved an impressive rise in their pass rate, with 63% of students passing English and Maths. This marks a 34% increase in the number of students meeting this crucial benchmark.

  • The Brooksbank School also saw a substantial improvement, with 45% of students passing English and Maths. This represents a 15% increase year on year. This achievement comes after a challenging period for the school, which was rated inadequate just 18 months ago. The significant turnaround highlights the dedication of the trust, staff and students to achieving academic excellence.

  • Ryburn Valley High School recorded a 59% pass rate in English and Maths. marking a 26% increase. This steady improvement reflects the school’s ongoing commitment to raising educational standards.

The upward trend in GCSE results across all three schools within the Together Learning Trust is a source of immense pride. While Brooksbank has seen the most dramatic turnaround, all three schools are moving in the right direction, with the students’ hard work and perseverance shining through in their results.

We are incredibly proud of the progress made this year and the collective effort that has led to these impressive outcomes. As we continue to strive for excellence, we look forward to building on this success in the years to come.

Congratulations to all our Year 11 students. Your achievements are a testament to your dedication and hard work, and we wish you all the best as you move forward into the next exciting chapter of your lives.
