Mike joined the Trust in November 2019 as a Finance Apprentice and has progressed to the position of Finance manager after completing AAT level 4 and holding full MAAT status. In addition to working within the central office, Mike regularly works across the schools in the Trust to support their finance function. His role encompasses supporting the CFO in central finance functions, offering support to all schools as the financial software package expert and working across schools to support Finance and Business leaders in all aspects of finance and payroll.

Mike is passionate about finance in education and in addition to working for Together Learning Trust is also a Governor and the Chair of the Finance and Resource committee at a primary school in Kirklees.
