Carol Evans has been an educator for almost 30 years, and is Head of School at Ryburn Valley High School. Over the years Carol has seen Ryburn thrive, not only in academic achievement but in becoming a leading school in Character Education, Student Leadership and Careers Enrichment. Carol is committed to creating exciting opportunities within the curriculum for students, and ensuring that they have the tools and support they need to become the best version of themselves they can be.

Her career to date has been centred around mathematical subjects including Accounting, Economics and Business Studies. Having been a Head of Year, a Head of Department, and now Head of School, Carol’s fair and balanced approach to leadership has been attributed to her ambition to ensure Ryburn students are successful in their aspirations, so they go on to become positive role models in their community.
