We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Liz Lord on her appointment as the permanent Head of School at Honley High School! Liz has been an integral part of the Honley community for over a decade, serving with dedication and passion in various leadership roles.

Liz's journey at Honley, from Assistant Headteacher to Deputy Headteacher and now as the Head of School, reflects her unwavering commitment to excellence and student success. Her deep-rooted belief in the potential of every student and her relentless pursuit of excellence have been instrumental in driving positive outcomes for the school community.

In Liz's own words, "I live and breathe the school and trust core principles and strive for the highest every day. It is my passionate belief that all students can achieve great things." Her vision for Honley High School aligns perfectly with the values of The Together Learning Trust.

As demonstrated by the recent highly successful Ofsted Inspection, Honley High School is already recognised as a really great school. With Liz's leadership, supported by the incredible students, families, community, and dedicated staff, we have every confidence that Honley will continue to soar to even greater heights.
