We are thrilled to announce that Netherton Infant & Nursery School has opened its doors to the brand new Bee-Hive nurture room! Thanks to the unwavering support of our incredible staff, governors, and the local community, this space has become a reality.

The Bee-Hive, adorned with a charming honeybee logo, symbolises the core values we hold dear: hard work, community, and cooperation. These values are the driving force behind everything we do here at Netherton.

Stepping into the Bee-Hive, you'll be greeted with an abundance of natural light and a host of activities designed to both calm and inspire. From a cosy reading area to a creative drawing corner, not to mention comfortable seating throughout, our students will find the perfect spot to unwind, learn, and socialise.

This nurturing space is open to students of all ages, ranging from nursery to year two. It's a sanctuary where they can flourish, explore, and build lasting friendships. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the community for their generosity and contributions, without which this remarkable project wouldn't have been possible.

Last Friday, on May 20, we celebrated the official opening of the Bee-Hive with a truly special event. Netherton united as a close-knit community to commemorate the collective effort invested in providing our children with the very best environment for learning and development.

We can't express enough how much this new learning and nurture space means to us. It's an invaluable addition that will enhance our pupils' educational journey and help them thrive.
